Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist, Security for Special Programs in Aurora, CO to lead a comprehensive security program in a fast-paced setting. You will implement DoD/NISPOM requirements, prepare SOPs, and ensure program security across multiple sites.

Role requires 5+ years of experience, DoD guidance expertise (NISPOM, ICDs), and strong collaboration with security leadership to enforce policies and drive improvements.

Qualifications

University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years experience.

Responsibilities

Develop, administer, and maintain a comprehensive security program in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Understand, implement, and ensure compliance with DoD 5205.07, NISPOM, ICDs and related guidance; develop SOPs and addendums.
Advise on security policies, procedures, and documentation for the program; update security education and awareness.
Administer indoctrinations, refresher briefings, debriefings, and program investigations; manage personnel processing and visitor control.
Collaborate with ISSM/ISSO on JSIG requirements; participate in inspections and corrective actions.
