Job summary

RTX in Andover, MA seeks a Principal Specialist, Security to provide security actions supporting the site. You will manage document control, security education, training, and investigations, applying DoD and NISPOM requirements.

The role involves coordinating with DCSA, safeguarding classified materials, and reporting on project progress. You will lead training and security initiatives, perform audits, and support export controls while ensuring coverage during surge periods.

Qualifications

• Typically requires: a university degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years, or an advanced degree with 3+ years
• Investigative experience
• Experience with receipt and dispatch of classified items
• Experience in public speaking and education/training
• Experience with electronic card access control systems and CCTV use in investigations
• Bachelor-level major in Business, Criminal Justice, or related field (preferred)
• Some supervisorial security/military experience
• Active Secret DoD security clearance (preferred)
• Ability to work with internal/external customers at all levels
• Knowledge of security protocols and NISPOM

Responsibilities

• Lead Andover Security Education and Training, including face-to-face briefings
• Oversee Document Control for receipt/dispatch of classified materials and conduct audits
• Support DCSA inspections and ensure continuity of Document Control operations
• Plan, develop, and implement security programs protecting personnel, IP and facilities
• Assist investigations by interviewing employees and submitting reports
• Track progress on security projects with timely communication and accountability
• Coordinate export-related security activities with DCSA, logistics, and packaging
