Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Specialist, Security in Tucson to support the production security team for classified programs. The role requires active DoD Secret clearance and experience with NISPOM, JSIG, ICD-705, and security operations across multiple programs.

You will lead day-to-day security activities, coordinate with program management, cybersecurity, facilities and government representatives, and ensure compliance with government and RTX security requirements, including SAPs and personnel

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent with 5 years of security experience in industrial, DoD, or program security.
• Experience with DoD security requirements and government policies.
• Experience with NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) and DoDM 5205.07/5105.21, JSIG, ICD-705.
• Experience in security incidents, inspections, corrective actions, and SAPs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily security operations across Tucson facilities and programs.
• Ensure compliance with NISPOM, DoD directives, JSIG, ICD-705, and RTX policies.
• Provide guidance to security personnel and coordinate workload.
• Serve as security operations lead during the Security Manager's absence.
• Collaborate with management, engineering, cybersecurity, facilities, and government reps to resolve security issues.
• Support personnel security processing, SAP nominations, indoctrinations, debriefings, access management, and security databases.
• Support security incident reporting, risk assessments, and POA&Ms.
• Develop SOPs, JOIs, and processes to improve security compliance.
• Coordinate with ISSMs/ISSOs on JSIG requirements and controls.
• Travel between Tucson and other RTX sites as required.
