Job summary

ASEC, Inc. seeks an NGTS Subject Matter Expert (Systems Engineer) to support DoD training programs at NAS Lemoore, CA. You will design, sustain, and evolve high-fidelity NGTS training environments, collaborating with Fleet, FRS, and engineering teams to ensure readiness and effectiveness.

The role requires a STEM degree and at least eight years in test and evaluation, with strong Navy Link-16 knowledge and datalink/LVC integration. On-site support across multiple locations may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
8+ years of experience in test and evaluation.
Strong knowledge of Navy Link-16 operations, including J-Message, MIL-STD-6016, JNL, and datalink usage across C2 and non-C2 platforms.
Ability to integrate datalink processes into NGTS LVC simulations.
Experience with SoS architectures, including datalink and LVC systems.
Familiarity with the NGTS application.
Knowledge of JREAP integration with Link 16.

Responsibilities

Design, refine, and execute dynamic, high-fidelity NGTS training scenarios across multiple sites.
Diagnose and resolve NGTS software, networking, and integration issues.
Manage NGTS data and GUI settings; ensure stable NGTS performance.
Provide ART reports and support data analysis for training events.
Draft and track Discrepancy Reports (DRs) for NGTS improvements.
Coordinate software deliveries and NGTS installations at various locations.
