Job summary

ASEC seeks an NGTS Subject Matter Expert (Systems Engineer) to lead design, sustainment, and evolution of high-fidelity F/A-18 training environments in support of aircrew readiness. You will work with Fleet, FRS, and engineering teams to ensure NGTS runs reliably during critical missions. Requires a U.S.

citizen with active DoD Top Secret clearance. On-site work at NAS Lemoore, CA, with occasional support at other locations; salary ranges reflect senior DoD engineering expertise and program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in test and evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of Navy Link-16 operations and datalink usage.
• Ability to integrate datalink into NGTS LVC simulations.
• Experience with SoS architectures and NGTS.
• Familiarity with NGTS application and JREAP integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide NGTS operational support to design and execute high-fidelity training scenarios.
• Diagnose and resolve NGTS software, networking, and integration issues.
• Manage NGTS data, GUI settings, and performance optimization.
• Train NGTS operators on multiple NGTS applications.
• Analyze ART queries and provide ART reports as required.
• Troubleshoot NGTS discrepancies using MS Visual Studio stacks.
• Coordinate software deliveries and NGTS installation at locations.
• Attend weekly NGTS/TOFT program meetings and support DR processes.
