ASEC in Norfolk, VA seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead design, integration, testing, and sustainment of live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training systems for Navy and coalition readiness. The role involves coordinating across platforms, securing high-fidelity simulations, and delivering scalable training capabilities.

The position requires a DoD Top Secret clearance, a STEM degree, and 10+ years of systems engineering experience, with up to 25% travel. Based in Norfolk, VA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
10+ years of systems engineering experience in DoD programs.
Experience with LVC training environments and distributed simulations.

Responsibilities

Lead design, integration, testing, and sustainment of LVC training systems.
Coordinate across live platforms, virtual simulators, and constructive environments.
Develop system architectures, ICDs, and roadmaps for training capabilities.
Manage lifecycle requirements with traceability from mission needs to implementation.
Conduct design reviews and engineering assessments.
