ASEC is seeking a Network Systems Engineer to support Navy training operations at the LVC Global Operations Center, NAS Oceana Dam Neck annex. You will implement, troubleshoot, and sustain secure network systems, configure equipment, support installation and integration, and maintain documentation.

A DoD Top Secret clearance is required, and the role may involve up to 25% travel. The position collaborates with engineering, cybersecurity, and government teams to ensure secure, reliable network

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
• Experience implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching, VLANs, subnetting, firewall controls, and copper/fiber connectivity.
• Ability to read and interpret network engineering drawings and documentation.
• Experience configuring routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Ability to follow approved designs and communicate issues.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and troubleshoot network solutions per designs and requirements.
• Configure, deploy, and support routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, LAN/WAN.
• Review diagrams, rack elevations, cable schedules, and installation drawings.
• Assist with installation/integration of network equipment and verify against docs.
• Assist with copper/fiber connectivity evaluations, rack layouts, pathways.
• Execute network integration, test procedures, and document results.
• Support network hardening and STIG implementation with ISSO/ISSE.
• Assist RMF technical evidence, remediation, configuration updates, and security docs.
• Maintain configuration baselines, inventories, BOMs, change records.
• Identify issues, recommend solutions, communicate findings to leadership.
• Develop/update network engineering and installation documentation.
• Travel up to 25% annually.
