Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking a Discovery Business and System Analyst to support legal accounts within a fast-paced team. The role focuses on documenting and improving business processes, gathering requirements, and evaluating solutions to enhance government contracting workflows.

Responsibilities include analyses of current capabilities, creating a requirements database, testing, and ensuring proposed IT solutions meet needs while maintaining accurate capability records.

Qualifications

• Document and manage new and existing business processes for training, analysis and redesign.
• Analyze existing business processes to improve workforce efficiency.
• Analyze operational requirements and perform gap analysis for modifications.
• Create and maintain a requirements database documenting support for each requirement.
• Validate proposed solutions meet underlying needs and collect marketing materials.

Responsibilities

• Document and manage new and existing functional capabilities of IT solutions.
• Analyze capabilities against requirements to identify gaps affecting processes.
• Compare marketing materials and deliver an Analysis of Alternatives for PMO.
• Validate that proposed solutions deliver new functional capabilities addressing requirements.
• Build and execute thorough test scripts to evaluate products fairly.
• Review solution configuration changes to maintain an accurate picture of capabilities.
• Perform other systems analysis research and documentation tasks as assigned.
