Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Top-Secret cleared Systems Engineer to join a mission-driven team delivering data innovation and advanced analytical insights. You’ll lead large-scale data analysis, support on-prem and cloud applications, and provide hands-on network operations support in a hybrid environment with a focus on security and mission success.

This role emphasizes certification tasks, SOP creation, and advising leadership on technology investments while maintaining current patches and security

Qualifications

• Strong Linux skills and 8+ years in large-scale enterprise networks.
• Experience in cloud and on-prem infrastructure, virtualization, and security practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance, availability and network issues.
• Experience with client/server design and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, design, and implement network hardware and server environments.
• Provide day-to-day operations support for network hardware and OS.
• Troubleshoot physical and logical network issues and testing of hardware.
• Plan and implement new network infrastructure hardware and OS deployments.
• Perform system management and integration with virtualization and network admin.
• Maintain network standards including TCP/IP and security considerations.
