Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years experience in Java/Springboot, Angular(version 17 or higher), PostgreSQL, and AWS environments.
• 2+ years demonstrated experience working in AI-assisted development workflows.
• Candidate should have experience in designing and writing AI models.
• Excellent debugging and architectural design skills to steer AI agents effectively.
• Active Top Secret clearance and willingness to go onsite in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and refactor Java (Spring Boot) back-end and Angular 21 front-end code.
• Use AI tools to generate boilerplate, write unit tests, and perform application modernization tasks.
• Ensure AI-generated outputs strictly adhere to security, AWS cloud architecture, and PostgreSQL database standards.
• Manually review, debug, and optimize code to prevent integration issues and low-quality abstractions.
