Job summary

EY Government and Infrastructure is seeking a Data Senior Analyst to support a federal program, focusing on AI-driven analytics and data solutions. The role emphasizes delivering actionable insights, building AI-enabled capabilities, and aligning with mission needs through advanced analytics.

You will work on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), semantic search, and AI optimization, with frequent collaboration across teams and potential travel. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or above in mathematics, information systems, statistics, computer science, or related disciplines
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) and AI inference optimizations
• Experience with open-source AI and web projects
• Experience with RAG or fine-tuning models
• Communication is essential, must be able to listen and understand the question and develop and deliver clear insights

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation and enhancement of advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions for the program
• Identify and implement practical AI use cases to improve analyst productivity and decision-making
• Develop and evaluate generative AI, ML, and predictive analytics capabilities aligned with mission needs
• Assist in the design of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge management, and semantic search solutions
• Explore opportunities to leverage Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI capabilities
• Perform data analytics and reporting, data exploration, trend analysis, anomaly detection, and operational analytics
• Translate complex data into actionable business insights for leadership and stakeholders
• Support audit, compliance and performance measurement through advanced analytics
