Job summary

EY's Government and Infrastructure practice in McLean seeks a Data Engineer to help clients navigate AI, data and analytics with Top Secret clearance. This role blends BI, data integration, and ETL work to deliver scalable data solutions in a client-facing consulting environment.

You will collaborate with analysts and technical teams to design data products, optimize queries, and ensure data accessibility and quality across enterprise datasets. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Active Top Secret clearance is required.
• 1–3 years of related experience with SQL, Power BI, data modeling, data integration and transformation.
• Willingness to work in-person in the Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities

• Design data solutions and analytical products with stakeholders and teams.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) to improve accessibility and quality.
• Develop dashboards and reports to support audits and leadership inquiries.
• Ensure data pipelines and reporting issues are troubleshooted.
