Job summary

EY seeks an AI Solution Development Senior Analyst to design and build AI-enabled solutions for the Government & Public Sector. You will own features or workstreams, collaborate with engagement teams, and deliver production-grade applications using Python, FastAPI, and React in a hybrid environment.

You will work across AI, data engineering, and cloud services, translating requirements into scalable components while ensuring security and compliance for government clients.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years of related professional experience
• Experience developing software, data, AI, analytics, or automation solutions
• Development experience with Python and a modern backend framework such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, or a similar technology
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern front‑end framework such as React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, Svelte, or a similar technology
• Experience integrating generative AI models or services into applications through APIs, cloud services, or approved open‑source frameworks
• Experience developing APIs, application services, data integrations, or secure connections to enterprise data sources
• Experience developing or deploying applications within a cloud environment such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or a comparable platform
• Working knowledge of SQL and data ingestion, transformation, and quality concepts
• Experience with SDLC practices, source control, testing, code review, documentation, and deployment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and improve AI-enabled applications, proofs of concept, prototypes, and reusable components
• Own defined features or technical workstreams and coordinate delivery through requirements to implementation
• Translate requirements into solution components, acceptance criteria, and testable outcomes
• Develop AI-enabled web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies
• Integrate generative AI models and services into applications via APIs and cloud services
• Build retrieval-augmented generation solutions and enterprise-search capabilities
• Develop APIs, services, data integrations, and prompt workflows
• Contribute to evaluation of technical approaches, models, and tools
• Provide guidance and review to Staff professionals on development tasks
• Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability
• Create technical documentation and deployment instructions
• Stay current on generative AI, cloud services, data engineering, and responsible AI
• Deliver responsibilities in line with scope, quality, schedule
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders
