Sunset Ford St. Louis seeks a high-energy Sales Manager to lead the showroom desk and floor, close deals, and maintain top customer satisfaction. You will partner with sales consultants to pencil deals, structure financing, and drive revenue while coaching the team to hit aggressive targets.

In this hands-on role you will mentor staff, manage trade appraisals, and ensure clean handoffs to F&I. A proven leadership mindset and integrity are essential to succeed in our 5th-generation family

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years as Automotive Sales Manager or Senior Desk Manager at a high-volume dealership.
• Strong negotiation skills with deal math, trade evaluations, and lender guidelines.
• Ability to train, motivate, and develop sales consultants.
• Proficient with dealership CRM, social media, DMS, and inventory appraisal tools.
• Commitment to transparency and Sunset Ford standards.

Responsibilities

• Desking & deal structuring with sales consultants to close transactions profitably.
• Floor coaching and handling Turn Overs to save deals and inspire the team.
• Trade appraisals using market pricing tools for optimal margins.
• Mentor and train staff with daily performance metrics and scripts.
• Assist inventory flow and ensure attractive lot presentation.
• Ensure seamless handoffs to F&I and compliant deal documentation.
