Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care to clients in the Williamston area. The role focuses on delivering direct patient support, personal care, and assistance with daily living within the client’s residence.

You will follow the Plan of Care, maintain patient confidentiality, complete EVV time sheets, and collaborate with supervising clinicians.

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to include ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
• Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care (bath, shave, hair, mouth care).
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Prepare meals with consideration of client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and activities as needed.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client's condition.
• Complete EVV Aide Plan task/time sheet when needed.
• Demonstrate dependability by punctual reporting.
• Adapt to client and family value systems.
• Assist in promoting independence within client's abilities.
• Perform other duties per care plan.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and rights; follow Plan of Care; never administer medications.
