Job summary

Action Health Staffing & Home Care Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home care in the Williamston area. The role covers direct patient care, personal hygiene, transfers, and mobility assistance, all in the patient's residence.

You will support daily living activities, monitor health status, maintain records, and follow the Plan of Care. Light housekeeping and companionship are also part of the duties, with EVV time sheets used for task reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills including reading, writing and following directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary for client care.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care and activities of daily living.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
• Prepare meals with consideration of client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and activities as needed.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records required by agency.
• Record and report changes in client's physical or psychosocial condition.
• Complete EVV task reporting via Aide Plan or EVV timesheet.
• Demonstrate dependability by punctual reporting as assigned.
• Adapt to client and family value systems.
• Assist in providing independence within the scope of client's abilities.
• Perform other duties according to the care plan.
• Notify Action Health Staffing with questions, concerns, changes or comments.
