Job summary

Castello di Amorosa in Napa Valley seeks a part-time Tour and Tasting Associate to educate guests about wines, lead tours, and promote winery experiences. You will focus on customer service, upselling, and event support, with weekend daytime availability.

You must be 21+, able to lift 50 lbs, and maintain a professional presence; starting pay is $20–$28 per hour based on sales performance.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication in English required.
• Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to work quickly and under pressure.
• Must be 21+ and have reliable transportation.
• Daytime weekend availability required.
• RBS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Educate guests about wines, winemaking techniques, and winery history.
• Help customers make selections by offering suggestions and opinions.
• Contribute to group sales goals by achieving personal targets.
• Greet and serve guests in a friendly, gracious manner.
• Promote Castello di Amorosa wines by pouring and presenting to match customer interest.
• Promote the Winery's Wine Club.
• Escort groups through the winery and explain processes and equipment.
• Support for private bookings and winery events.
• Learn and present tour material as directed.
• Maintain and restock working area.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and networking.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Project a professional company image through in-person interaction.
