Job summary

Precision Drilling in Williamsport, PA is seeking a field technician to perform rig-up, maintenance and troubleshooting of Top Drives both in the field and in the shop. You will minimize downtime, train personnel, and uphold safety standards on site.

Ideal candidates have oilfield and Top Drive experience, hydraulic/computer proficiency, and strong leadership and communication abilities. Expect a hands-on role with opportunities for growth and advancement in a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

Oilfield Top Drive experience required.
Hydraulic, mechanical and electronic aptitude required.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Able to multitask, prioritize and work independently with initiative.

Responsibilities

Perform rig-up, maintenance and troubleshooting of Top Drives in field and shop.
Minimize downtime through preventive maintenance and organized spare parts inventory.
Train rig personnel on operation and maintenance procedures.
Uphold strict safety standards and work at heights up to 140 feet.
Leverage technical and leadership skills with oilfield and Top Drive experience.
