Job summary

Canam Steel Corporation in Buckeye, AZ is seeking an organized Inventory Clerk to manage daily requisitions for fasteners and non-steel materials, perform weekly inventories, and maintain accurate stock levels. You will use D365, prepare reports, and support maintenance and production as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2–3 years' inventory software experience, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. 2nd shift with overtime opportunities described.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in D365 or other inventory management software preferred.
• Follow quality procedures and demonstrate strong safety awareness.
• Work independently and/or as part of a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high energy for long periods.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to take direction from Supervisory staff.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime as requested.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Produces daily requisitions for fasteners, components and non-steel materials as per Job Orders.
• Conducts weekly physical inventory and submits replenishment requests.
• Prepares weekly usage reports for fasteners, components and non-steel materials.
• Checks out tools, supplies, safety equipment and assigns lockers.
• Maintains records of all transactions on paper and in a computer system.
• Conducts inventories to reconcile stock and places received inventory on shelves.
• Performs data entry for Maintenance, Production, and other areas as needed.
