Job summary

Canam Steel Corporation is seeking self-motivated, safety-conscious team members to join our Buckeye, AZ production crew on the 1st shift. The role focuses on operating machinery, monitoring output, maintaining quality, and adhering to safety protocols in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

We offer full-time employment with benefits, a base pay around $18/hour plus weekly production bonuses, and opportunities for additional incentives.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery according to SOPs and production schedules.
• Monitor output and quality to meet specifications.
• Operate one or more machines (stud machine, bridging stacker, stacker, painters).
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; follow safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor; ensure attendance and reliability.

Job description

We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates who would like to join our production team in our Buckeye, AZ location!

New employees can earn 55K in total compensationwhen working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40-50 hour work week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses.

There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives.

Position is full-time with benefits!

1st Shift

Monday - Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Monday - Thursday Day shift - 5:00 AM - 2:30 AM

Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30PM

Mandatory alternating Saturdays Day shift - 5:00 AM - 1:30PM

*Must be able to work all shift schedules

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.

Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.

Operate 1 machine (Stud machine, Bridging Stacker, Stacker and Painters).

Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Adhere to safety protocols.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Manufacturing floor with machinery.

Shift

1st shift; When working 9 hr schedule Monday - Thursday Day 5:00am - 2:30pm, Friday Day 5:00am to 1:30pm and Mandatory alternating Saturdays Day 5:00am to 1:30pm. When working 8 hr schedule Mon-Fri 5:00am - 1:30pm. Must be available to work all shifts.
