Job summary

1 Resource Group is seeking Tool Attendants for a project-based role in Homer City, PA. You will issue and receive toolroom inventory daily, inspect items for color coding and damage, and maintain accurate inventory records throughout the shift.

The position requires general warehouse experience, strong math and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-4 years of general warehouse experience, preferably in a tool room.
• Experience with inventory control preferred.
• Strong mathematical abilities/aptitude and analytical skills.
• Experience performing minor repairs to tools/equipment preferred.
• Broad knowledge of construction tools and consumables.
• Must be organized, customer service driven, detail-oriented and able to work with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Issue and receive toolroom items daily.
• Inspect items for color code and damage.
• Maintain daily inventory and cycle counts.
• Stock inventory shelves and prepare items for delivery.
• Read orders and requisitions to move or distribute items.
• Place materials on racks by type/size/color.
• Use RF scan gun to fill requisitions.
• Ensure safety and wear PPE as required.
• Maintain clean, organized work area.
• Communicate with management and customers regularly.
