Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of issued tools and monitor tool room inventory.
• Receive new tools into the organization and schedule preventive maintenance for equipment.
• Order all necessary tools and equipment required for shop personnel.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain price quotes; submit new orders to management for approval.
• Request purchase orders (POs) from the Purchasing Department.
• Maintain all tools and consumables in a well-organized manner.
• Maintain and file documentation required for reporting purposes.
• Collaborate effectively with multiple team members and departments simultaneously.
• Maintain good communication with shop leads and supervisors.
