Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain press tools, die repairs.
• Routine servicing and regrinding of tools.
• Attend breakdowns, identify fault and problem solve at the press with minimal downtime.
• Evaluate each job and determine repair feasibility in press or Tool Room for maintenance.
• Estimate time required to complete a job and assess consequences of delays.
• Identify and mitigate any activity that could cause harm or damage.
• Report breakdown root causes and equipment faults to management.
