SIG SAUER, Inc. seeks a Toolmaker II in Jacksonville, AR to set up and operate machine tools producing precision parts. Candidates need 5–7 years of machining experience and strong skills in mechanics, layout and machining procedures. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality to ensure accuracy and quality.

The role requires high attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and compliance with 5S and ISO safety standards. On-site shifts may include overtime as needed.

Formación

• HS diploma or AS in Machine Tool; 5–7 years machining experience.
• Experience in milling, turning, grinding; programming; CAD/CAM; metrology.
• Strong geometry, trig, and SPC knowledge.
• Read blueprints; GD&T proficiency.
• Use precision measuring tools incl. micrometers and indicators.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and various processes (EDM, heat treatment).
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Fabricate or modify parts to repair or maintain tools and machines.
• Work independently and with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams.
• Conform to 5S standards and safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes.
• Program machines in designated area.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• Maintain equipment and fixtures; assist in design/fabrication of fixtures.
• Assist with overtime or shift changes as needed.
• Support ISO procedures and maintain a clean work area.
