Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Toolmaker II to set up and operate a range of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. You will also fabricate and modify parts to repair or maintain tooling and machines, applying knowledge of mechanics and shop mathematics.

The role requires 5–7 years of machining experience, the ability to program machines, and collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality. on-site work in Jacksonville, AR is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of machining experience is required.
• Ability to program machines in the designated area.
• Understanding of geometry, trig, and statistical process control.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machine tools to produce precision parts.
• Fabricate and modify parts to repair or maintain machines.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications to ensure tolerances.
• Work in 2D and 3D environments within tolerance of +/-.0005”
• Provide guidance to less senior Toolmakers.
• Follow ISO and safety procedures.
• Willing to work overtime or alternate shifts if needed.
