Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services seeks a skilled Toolmaker to support tool production and maintenance for automotive manufacturing operations. You will interpret blueprints, set up machine tools, fit and assemble tooling, and ensure tools meet specifications through testing and inspection.

Candidates should have formal apprenticeship or equivalent experience, plus strong math, blueprint reading, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or equivalent and formal apprenticeship/Tool Maker training.
4+ years in Tool Maker or Tool and Die Maker roles via apprenticeship or equivalent.
Experience in a manufacturing environment with tooling and die operations.
Ability to read blueprints and apply measurements to tooling and fixtures.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machine tools (lathes, milling machines, grinders) to shape parts.
Fit and assemble jigs, fixtures, gauges, and tooling parts.
Test completed tools to ensure tolerances and specifications.
Interpret blueprints and layouts to plan operations and sequence of steps.
