Job summary

Stellantis NV is seeking a skilled Toolmaker for its Kentucky manufacturing facility. The role requires the ability to analyze specifications, lay out metal stock, set up and operate machine tools, and assemble parts to create and repair cutting tools, jigs, fixtures and gauges.

Proficiency with CAD/CAM and precision measurement will be essential. You will test tools, verify dimensions, and work from blueprints to ensure parts meet exact tolerances.

Qualifications

• Must have high school or equivalent and strong math/physics basics.
• Four+ years of combined experience or an approved Apprenticeship in Tool Making or Tool and Die.
• Extensive tooling experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines and grinders to shape parts.
• Test and inspect tools to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Read blueprints, layouts and drawings to plan tool fabrication.
• Assemble and adjust jigs, fixtures and gauges for production use.
• Interpret specifications and use measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
