Job summary

The Tooling Engineer at Stellantis Financial Services will own the complete tooling and equipment process for production parts, from purchasing to installation and change control. You will drive quality improvements and participate in planning, supporting efficient throughput and cost management in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree or equivalent experience, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Journeyman status with minimum 5 years manufacturing experience; or HS Diploma/GED with 10 years.
• Strong problem-solving and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine tooling requirements to produce world-class parts, with costs and quotes.
• Procure tooling and equipment needed for operations.
• Specify machine types, tooling, fixtures, and gauges for operations.
• Determine take time and pieces per hour for production planning.
• Assist in tool design and coordinate equipment installation.
• Manage engineering changes after part launch.
