Express Employment International (US) is seeking a dependable Tooling Technician in Willoughby, OH to maintain, set up, inspect, and repair ceramic core tooling and fixtures for daily production operations. Strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience are valued, with safety prioritised.

The role requires high school level education, ability to operate measuring tools, and excellent reliability. Competitive hourly compensation is offered in a full-time setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and change dies on injection presses
• Prepare tooling and dies for coating processes
• Clean, inspect, and properly store dies after use
• Perform chrome checks and inspect tooling for wear
• Polish, deburr, and maintain tooling components
• Grind feed plates and nozzles as needed
• Work with Tooling Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Maintain inventory of tooling components, including pins, bolts, and feeds
• Keep tooling storage areas organized and maintained
• Complete required documentation and production records
• Perform end-of-shift duties, TPM activities, and 6S responsibilities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
