Pioneer Metal Finishing, a leading surface engineering company, is hiring for a 1st shift position in Salt Lake City. The role starts at $19.50/hour with performance/pay reviews at 90 days and the option for same‑day pay.

Qualifikationen

• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hand/air tool experience.
• Able to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.

Aufgaben

• Build and adjust racks and tooling to maximize load density and efficiency.
• Maximize parts per rack load while ensuring safety and quality.
• Tooling ensures good electrical contact and reliable performance.
• Racks securely hold product to prevent loss or contact.
• Position parts to prevent air pockets and ensure drainage.
• Fabricate racks to meet customer requirements.
• Develop hand tools to improve rackers and unrackers efficiency.
• Work with hand/air/power tools, gauges, and measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with QA to write tooling procedures and production tooling guides.
• Coordinate with Production and Team Leader on daily tooling priorities and maintenance.
• Notify supervisor if tooling cannot be met on time and decide on alternatives.
• Perform machining operations such as drilling, milling, reaming, tapping, grinding, cutting.
• Recognize machine irregularities and report to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Tooling Supervisor.
• Promote teamwork across Tooling, Production, and QA departments.
• Communicate with vendors as needed.
