Job summary

Atlas Molded Products in Fond du Lac is seeking a 1st or 2nd Shift Tooling Set Up Technician to support manufacturing operations. The role reports to the shift supervisor and requires knowledge of tooling, presses, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Starting pay is $26 per hour or higher, based on experience. The selected candidate will install tools, replace parts, train others, maintain a clean work area, and comply with safety and Quality System requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Must be able to use simple math and basic handheld measuring tools.
• Moderate to heavy physical effort; able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Able to operate a forklift within safety guidelines.
• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to supervisor at start time for shift direction.
• Understand manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations and safety requirements.
• Provide on-the-job training to new and existing employees; report issues to supervisor.
• Remove and install tools into designated presses as directed.
• Replace seals, fill guns, knock outs, and other accessories to support production.
• Install logo plates and inserts as needed.
• Maintain safety, identify leaks, and repair as needed.
• Assist with press start-up and tool functionality; keep area clean and organized.
• Attend to duties and ensure reliable attendance; operate forklift safely.
