Job summary

Yamad in South Charleston, OH is seeking a PE Technician - Tooling for the 1st shift to ensure production lines have the necessary tools and hardware. The role tracks tooling conditions, stocks line-side cabinets, and processes tooling quotes and returns.

You will enter items in inventory, assist with tooling setup, and maintain accurate records using a scanner. Benefits include life insurance, 401(k), sign-on bonus, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• General understanding of tools and production lines.
• Experience with Windows, Word and Excel preferred.
• Willing to train as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Check tooling usage and inventories to generate requisitions.
• Restock line-side tooling cabinets Monday–Friday.
• Receive tooling into main storage and update records.
• Enter tooling items into the inventory database.
• Obtain new tooling quotes and file by company name.
• Collect used tooling and dispose of it properly.
• Ship and receive tooling for regrind.
• Assist production with tooling setup and troubleshooting.
• Record damaged tools and maintain correct inventory levels.
