Job summary

Yamad in South Charleston, OH is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support production by moving materials, stocking lines, and preparing finished goods for shipment. Responsibilities include FIFO inventory practices, forklift operation, and assisting shipping and receiving to ensure accurate counts.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic math skills, reliability, and the ability to work in a team. The role may involve overtime and exposure to varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma strongly preferred.
• Experience driving stand-up lift trucks is a plus; experience in production control or shipping/receiving helpful.
• Basic math skills and ability to work with a team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Stock Production lines with parts and supplies necessary to produce adequate quantities of product while utilizing FIFO and JBK.
• Provide empty dunnage to production lines.
• Move finished goods from lines to storage in preparation for shipping and maintaining FIFO.
• Assist shipping with finished goods sorts.
• Load and unloads product/dunnage from storage racks and/or trailers when necessary.
• Document material movements for lot traceability
• Assist with efforts to maintain accurate inventory counts through audits and physical counts
• Maintain lift trucks and ensure batteries are properly charged to increase battery life
• Assist maintaining Receiving and West Warehouse
• Any other tasks asked by YNA management that does not conflict with directions from your direct Team Leader or Manager.

Job Summary

This position provides support to production by the movement of materials throughout the facility, maintaining proper quantities of raw materials in appropriate areas, and placement of finished goods for shipment preparation to customers.

Essential Functions

• Stock Production lines with parts and supplies necessary to produce adequate quantities of product while utilizing FIFO and JBK.
• Provides production lines with empty dunnage.
• Move finishes goods from lines to storage in preparation for shipping and maintaining FIFO.
• Assists shipping with finished good sorts.

Requirements

Education

Skills

Position requires basic math skills including multiplication, division, addition and subtraction, the ability to arrive to work consistently and on-time, the ability to read and understand directions, the ability to listen and follow instructions, and the abilty to work with a team.

Working Conditions

Position requires the ability to drive a lift truck, bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive arm movements, lift up to 40 pounds, stand on concrete for extended periods of time, work mandatory overtime, and withstand temperatures of up to 100 degrees.
