Job summary

Douglas Dynamics, LLC in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support a broad range of projects, including fixture/tool fabrication and workstation equipment installation. You will collaborate with teams to drive safe, efficient production and continuous improvement.

The role requires up to three years of related experience, welding/metal fabrication/machining knowledge, GD&T familiarity, and forklift/scissor lift operation.

Qualifications

• Requires up to three years of related experience; or High School diploma/GED and three to five years of progressively responsible related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of welding, metal fabrication, and machining processes; basic knowledge of electric and pneumatic circuits.
• Proficiency operating a forklift and scissor lift; ability to operate a variety of small hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, assemble, and qualify fixtures and tools for use in various manufacturing processes.
• Design, fabricate, and install workstation equipment including benches, racks, tool rails, carts, and assembly aids.
• Proactively interact with shop floor associates, leads, supervisors, and management to research, communicate, prioritize, and follow-up on tasks.
