The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, hands-on CNC programming, strong CAD and SolidWorks skills, and experience with VBA/Python.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Eng.
• Able to operate and program CNC machines; Haas preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of cutting tools and workholding.
• CAD/SolidWorks proficiency.
• SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample review tests of cutting tools and workholding; document results.
• Develop 2D blueprints and 3D models using CAD software.
• Create feed/speed calculators and usage guides.
• Analyze engineering drawings to set standards for new product development.
• Create new part numbers and tooling specifications; provide end-user support.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and manufacturing for recommendations.
• Develop prototypes and test new designs; QA tests.
• Provide training to junior Tooling Engineers.
