Job summary

Varstaff Staffing seeks an engineering professional to design simple tooling for Blue Origin's New Glenn. You will proactively assess tooling needs from production flow, develop effective tooling solutions, and address technical challenges while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.

You will design CAD models and drawings per ASME Y14.5, manage projects end-to-end, coordinate procurement and fabrication, and collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to optimize safety,

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience with tooling design and manufacturing processes.
• GD&T knowledge and foundational engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, release CAD models and drawings for simple tooling per ASME Y14.5.
• Address tooling challenges across fixtures, handling equipment, and test devices.
• Manage tooling projects from concept to commissioning and proof testing.
• Coordinate procurement, fabrication, inspection, and installation.
• Support repair, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions.
