Job summary

Wolverine Industries is hiring for a die tooling operator on 12-hour continental shifts (6 a.m.–6 p.m.) in Alabama. Responsibilities include setting up tooling, loading dies, logging activity, and maintaining cleanliness on the production floor with safety in mind.

Overtime and weekend work may be required with immediate benefits and growth opportunities. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and ability to work as part of a team under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to work on production floor with exposure to dust, fumes, loud noise and varying temperatures.
• Able to lift and move parts and equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Able to perform repetitive manual tasks and stand for 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Consult the press schedule for a tooling set up plan and prepare tools.
• Load dies into the press, log tooling and time in inventory.
• Remove post-production tooling for caustic process per procedure.
• Clean and bead blast tooling; sort tools for repair or polish.
• Assist correctors with polishing and proper storage of dies.
• Keep workspace clean and organized.
• Monitor and change caustic tanks as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
