Job summary

Responsibilities include placing aluminum into age racks, inspecting material for defects, and supporting continuous improvements while keeping an organized workspace and adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Manufacturing experience working in industrial production is strongly preferred.
• Capable of reading and understanding production documents and safety manuals.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to always comply with all safety guidelines.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Attend all safety and production trainings.

Responsibilities

• Place aluminum into age racks, following proper nesting specs and verify piece counts.
• Inspect material for cut length and other potential defects when racking.
• Ability to cross train in other positions in the department.
• Keep workspace organized and clean, contributing to continuous improvements.
• Ensure that production requirements and standards are met or exceeded daily.
• Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care.
• Report any machinery issues to management.
• Other duties as assigned.
