Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of a U.S. DOL-certified 5-year mold making apprenticeship is required.
• Valid MI driver's license and PIT operator permit are required.

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and preventive maintenance of injection molds per drawings.
• Perform complex welding repairs, polishing, and texture work with tight tolerances.
• Read blueprints and modify molds with various machine tools.
• Fabricate parts from sketches using lathes, mills, and welders.
• Maintain safety, records, and documentation; train apprentices.
