Job summary

BLACKHAWK INDUSTRIAL OPERATING CO is seeking a Manufacturing Support Engineer for a full-time on-site role in Peoria, IL. The position focuses on maintaining technical knowledge of cutting tools and tooling applications, with on-site testing and training to ensure customer satisfaction.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred) and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, with sales or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively solve tooling problems for customers.
• Coordinate meetings between customers and vendor representatives on technical issues.
• Develop, update and maintain a technical database on cutting tools and applications.
• Manage new and existing customer relationships.
• Provide technical support to field and inside sales teams.
