Job summary

Bombardier in Mexico designs, builds and maintains aircraft components; Tooling Agent role supports tooling for metal structures in aircraft manufacturing. You will ensure tooling functions, execute maintenance, coordinate parts and inventories, and drive process improvements for operations.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant engineering degree and 1–3 years in tooling/maintenance with CAD tools, GD&T, and English at an intermediate level. Regular shift with growth in aerospace projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Electric, Mechanical, Industrial or Electro-mechanics Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience maintaining metal structures and tooling.
• 1–3 years using PolyWorks, Calypso; experience with Catia V5, NS, SolidWorks.
• GD&T knowledge and interpretation of drawings and tolerances.
• Experience adjusting mechanical tooling; intermediate English; Office 360.

Responsibilities

• Ensures optimal tooling in structural assemblies for aircraft manufacturing.
• Executes maintenance plans including preventive, corrective and predictive tasks.
• Coordinates work with service providers and manages parts/inventory.
• Proposes process/procedure improvements.
• Supports operational questions from support areas.
• Manages safety risk via FMEA in processes/tools.
• Supports standardization across Querétaro site and other sites outside Mexico.
• Manages projects from start to finish and across the project portfolio.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Ensures the optimal functioning of the tools used in structural assemblies (implementation, support, and obsolescence) aimed at the manufacturing of aircraft.
• Executes maintenance plans; design, execution, and improvement of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Coordinates work with service providers and management of parts and supplies inventory to ensure maintenance.
• Propose improvements in processes and procedures.
• Provide support for operational questions and requirements from support areas.
• Management of safety risks in processes and tools, including risk control through FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• Supports the standardization of processes, procedures, and best practices for the Querétaro site and management of these with other sites outside of Mexico.
• Manages projects from start to finish, as well as manage the project portfolio.

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

• You have a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Electric, Mechanical, Industrial or Electro-mechanics Engineering.
• You have 1 to 3 years of experience performing maintenance in metal mechanic structures and tooling.
• You have 1 to 3 years experience using: PolyWorks, Calypso
• You have experience managing Catia V5, NS, SolidWorks or similar design programs
• You have GD&T knowledge
• You have strong skills for interpretation of drawings and geometric tolerances
• You have experience adjusting mechanical tooling
• You have intermediate English level
• You have knowledge of Office 360
