Job summary

The Systems Group is seeking an energetic Tool Room Attendant to support day-to-day tool and equipment operations at our Berkeley, SC location. You will track check-in/check-out, organize the tool room, and coordinate basic repairs with qualified technicians to keep operations efficient.

You will work with team members to ensure safety, accuracy, and timely tool access for authorized personnel, while maintaining proper records and complying with company policies.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with hand and power tools operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of inventory management practices and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate records of tools and equipment, including check-in/check-out and usage monitoring.
• Distributing tools to authorized personnel and ensuring proper return procedures.
• Performing routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Coordinating more extensive repairs with qualified technicians.
• Keeping the tool room clean, organized, and safe per regulations and policies.
• Communicating with users, vendors, and staff about tool availability and maintenance schedules.
