Job summary

Responsibilities

• Select, train, and supervise classified and student workers; prepare schedules.
• Prepare budgets for tool room supplies and equipment; manage inventory and requisitions.
• Maintain tool room records and generate required reports.
• Check tools and equipment in/out for students in shop classes (aeronautics, automotive, electronics, tool & die, welding).
• Maintain tool room cleanliness, safety, and organization; perform minor repairs as needed.
• Monitor hazardous materials/waste programs and coordinate preventive maintenance with faculty chairs.
