Job summary

The role emphasizes safety, organization, and efficient shop operations. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude, and 1–2 years in a maintenance shop plus inventory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 1–2 years in a maintenance shop environment preferred.
• 1–2 years inventory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Valid Class-C Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain cleanliness of maintenance shop and supply rooms.
• Inventory and cycle count all tools and supplies in the maintenance department.
• Coordinate shipping of parts and equipment for repair.
• Assist in purchasing tools, supplies and machine parts.
• File and maintain equipment manuals.
• Perform daily safety inspections in the shop and on equipment.
