Job summary

TAS Energy is seeking a Tool Room Attendant to manage tool issuance, inventory, and documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing shop in Houston, TX. The role requires accuracy in tracking tool locations, scheduling preventive maintenance, and coordinating with suppliers for price quotes and purchases.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in manufacturing, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Excel/Word, plus solid English communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of issued tools and monitor tool room inventory.
• Receive new tools and schedule preventive maintenance for equipment.
• Order tools and equipment required for shop personnel.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain price quotes.
• Submit new orders for management approval and request POs from Purchasing.
• Maintain tools and consumables in a well-organized manner and file documentation.
