Hunter Douglas is seeking a skilled mold technician to maintain and repair injection molds and zinc diecast tools, ensuring tooling readiness for production. You will fabricate replacement components and perform preventative maintenance across tooling inventory.

The role requires knowledge of micrometers, calipers and indicators, with overtime and safe operations emphasized. Join a team focused on quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands on experience in injection molding or a similar skilled trade.
• Must possess a valid Drivers License.
• Must be willing and able to take an active role in plant wide safety activities.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Must be able to read and understand mold prints.
• Must be able to drive company vehicles used in the delivery and retrieval of molds from local vendors.
• Knowledge of use of measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
• Basic knowledge in the use off machine tool equipment (mills, lathe, surface grinders).

Responsabilités

• Responsible for maintaining and/or repairing injection molds and zinc diecast tools
• Responsible for making replacement components for tooling
• Responsible for preventative maintenance and in house location of all tooling
• Detecting mold component failure.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work space
• Maintain a safe work environment.
