Technimark LLC is seeking a 1st Shift Tool Maker at its Inwood, WV facility to keep molds in production-ready condition and support injection-molding operations. You will mentor apprentices, perform mold repairs and insert changes, and wire hot runners and thermocouples as needed.

The role requires reading blueprints and drawings, machining parts on a manual lathe/milling machine/surface grinder, and maintaining tool records in compliance with FDA & ISO standards.

Qualifikationen

• Read blueprints, part prints, and wiring schematics to interpret mechanical details.
• Perform mold repairs, maintenance, and component changes.
• Capable of small-part machining on a manual lathe, milling machine, or surface grinder.

Aufgaben

• Maintain all molds in production-ready condition to support manufacturing.
• Mentor apprentices and less-experienced team members on the job.
• Repair, clean, service, and perform insert changes on molds.
• Wire hot runners, hot sprue components, and thermocouples; replace hot runner parts as needed.
• Maintain and repair injection molds; perform root-cause analysis for major tool issues.
• Complete preventive maintenance and close work orders promptly.
• Read and interpret tooling drawings; assist with spare parts inventory for mold repairs.
• Participate in continual improvement and training to enhance tooling knowledge.
