Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is seeking a Tool Specialist based in New Castle, PA. The role focuses on ordering tools, stocking, and coordinating tool deliveries to projects, while ensuring proper returns and accurate inventory control.

You will support project managers, manage tool inventory, and use our inventory system. The position requires forklift experience and a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency in a warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years experience with tools or scheduling in a construction warehouse.
• Experience driving a forklift and using inventory systems one.

Responsibilities

• Fill tool orders from the warehouse; inspect, organize, and stage tools for delivery.
• Inventory all tools and equipment; assist with annual inventories; use inventory software.
• Create delivery/pick-up schedules; locate tools for back orders.
• Assist in tool purchases; submit purchase orders to accounts payable.
• Load/unload tools from trucks; audit tool recovery at job sites; operate forklift as needed.
• Ensure proper tool usage; clean/maintain/restore warehouse tools; restock as needed.
• Ship/receive packages daily; minimize delivery costs where possible.
• Make safe, attentive decisions to protect health and safety.
• Apply LEAN or continuous improvement to optimize operations.
