Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC in Fargo, ND is seeking a Tool Specialist to manage tool orders, inventory, and delivery logistics from the warehouse to project sites. You will ensure tool quality, assist with purchases, and coordinate with project managers to meet usage needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required; associate degree or related field preferred.
• Experience with tools or schedules in a construction warehouse environment (1–3 years).
• Knowledge of MN DOT and MSHA regulations; MN DOT certification preferred.
• Experience with forklift operation and computerized inventory systems.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and detail orientation; math skills and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Fill tool orders from the warehouse; inspect quality and prepare for delivery.
• Inventory all tools and equipment and assist in annual inventories; use computerized systems.
• Create delivery and pickup schedules; locate tools from projects to fulfill back orders.
• Assist with tool purchases; generate purchase orders and submit to accounts payable.
• Load/unload tools from delivery trucks and audit job sites for tool recovery; operate forklift as needed.
• Ensure proper tool usage; clean and maintain warehouse tools; restock inventory as needed.
• Ship/receive packages via UPS daily and minimize delivery costs.
• Promote LEAN concepts to improve operations and processes.
• Model company mission and DEI commitments in daily work.
