Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Inventory Clerk to receive, store, and issue parts and tools. You will prepare periodic inventory records, update computer systems, and investigate discrepancies, while maintaining an orderly stock room.

Responsibilities include repairing and lubricating tools as needed, delivering items to workers, and preparing shipping documents. A valid driver license and pre-employment screening are required.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver license.
• Prior experience preferred.
• Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical exam and drug screen.
• Classification and base pay rate dependent upon skillset and prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue parts, specialty hand tools, machine tools, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare periodic or perpetual inventory records for tools and equipment.
• Prepare inventory records and reports and investigate stock-count discrepancies.
• Update computer records to maintain inventory information.
• Prepare reports and recommend options for defective or unusable items.
• Receive, unpack, store, and requisition stock to replenish inventory.
• Repair, service, and lubricate tools and equipment as needed.
• Deliver parts, tools, or equipment to workers using manual handling equipment.
• Mark and identify parts, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain an orderly, debris-free inventory stock room.
• Prepare shipping documents as needed.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, jib cranes, straps and rigging, pallet trucks, and banding tools as necessary.
